What You’ll Discover

We designed this one-day journey for travelers who want Tokyo through the lens of design and contemporary art. Roppongi, Minami-Aoyama, and Omotesando sit close together on a map but require several train transfers to link on your own — a chartered vehicle and English-speaking guide move you between them without the hassle, for up to 8 hours. We take you up to the Mori Art Museum's 53rd-floor galleries, through the boutiques of Roppongi Hills, to a teppanyaki lunch, and on to the Nezu Museum and the architect-designed streets of Omotesando, ending in Shibuya. It's a slower, design-focused alternative to Tokyo's usual landmark tour.

Roppongi, Aoyama, and Omotesando look close on a map but take several train transfers to link — a chartered vehicle turns it into one smooth day.

Contemporary art 53 floors above the city, built on the belief that art belongs in the middle of daily life, not locked away in a museum on its own.

A hidden garden few visitors discover — a bamboo grove tucked behind one of Tokyo's finest collections of East Asian art.

Tadao Ando, Herzog & de Meuron, SANAA, and Kengo Kuma — four of the architects whose work defines this day, from Omotesando's boutiques to the Nezu Museum's garden.
